The relocation project has successfully energized, boosting the "acceleration" of key power construction projects in Guangxi.

On June 15 at 17:02, the 500 kV Nanyu I and II line renovation project, undertaken by the Southern Power Grid Guangxi Transmission and Transformation Construction Company, was completed after three months of work, overcoming adverse conditions such as extreme strong convective thunderstorms and high winds. The completion of this relocation project has laid a solid foundation for the safe and reliable crossing of the 220 kV lines of the new Jiang Substation, the fourth 500 kV substation in the capital of Guangxi, over the 500 kV Nanyu I and II lines.

The 500 kV Nanyu I and II line renovation project involved the construction of 18 new iron towers, a new line length of 3.475 kilometers, the dismantling of 15 old iron towers, and the removal of 3.458 kilometers of old line. Since the project commenced on March 17 of this year, it has received high attention from leaders at all levels, who have visited the site multiple times to inspect and guide the work. Under the scientific organization and careful deployment of the company, the project team established a special task force for the Nanyu heightening renovation, actively coordinated with the Nanning Bureau of the Southern Power Grid Ultra High Voltage Transmission Company, organized construction personnel to carry out operations simultaneously at multiple points, and optimized the construction plan based on the actual dynamics on site, providing strong technical support for the smooth implementation of the heightening renovation project.

Due to the impact of the flood season, the power outage period faced difficulties due to hail, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The company’s Line One Party Branch took proactive measures, promptly guiding the project team to adjust the flood season work plan, comprehensively inspecting on-site risks and hidden dangers, increasing safety emergency measures, and mobilizing advantageous forces to focus on tackling challenges. During the peak construction period, over 300 construction and management personnel were deployed to minimize the impact of the flood season on construction. The project manager and chief engineer, as representatives of the party members, took the initiative to plan meticulously, leading all employees to seize clear weather and combat the flood season. In response to the situation of construction personnel entering and exiting the site and the wide distribution of construction points, a reasonable construction plan was arranged, workforces were allocated, and the "1+N" work risk control mechanism was strengthened. The requirement for management and construction personnel to enter and exit together was strictly enforced, ensuring orderly advancement of project safety construction on the front line. In the future, the project team will always adhere to safety first, site supremacy, and value creation, and solidly promote the efficient development of engineering projects.
